Hi, I'm Stephen Wilson, a Freelance Web and Graphic Designer working in Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Originally trained as a fine artist, in 2001 I opened a copy of Flash and never looked back.

Having worked out how to make a ball bounce from one side of a 15" CRT display to the other, I thumbed through several ActionScript books until there was no gotoAndPlay left in me.

I'm now proficient in several languages including JavaScript, PHP and SQL. I encourage the use of open source software alternatives.

Way back when, a friend asked for a website for his local cycling club. Five years (and 3 versions) later here's the latest Yorkshire Velo website.

Built using the Joomla! CMS, it has a forum, cycling related RSS feeds and local weather reports (very handy when venturing out on your bike!)...
