Hi, I'm Stephen Wilson, a Freelance Web and Graphic Designer working in Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Originally trained as a fine artist, in 2001 I opened a copy of Flash and never looked back.

Having worked out how to make a ball bounce from one side of a 15" CRT display to the other, I thumbed through several ActionScript books until there was no gotoAndPlay left in me.

I'm now proficient in several languages including JavaScript, PHP and SQL. I encourage the use of open source software alternatives.

The Reliance

After X number of Friday nights and several Sunday roasts I finally got to redo The Reliance website. Well, it went something like that!

The Reliance website already had a good following but they needed a way to quickly upload new menus, post news and advertise up-and-coming art exhibitions. The Drupal CMS was a natural choice and after some online re-branding, I delivered a new content-managed website just in time for the Christmas 2009 season.
